As the AI Act starts to shape the European landscape for responsible AI, a key question arises: is legal compliance enough? In this online session of the learning community ‘AI and ethics in practice’, we explore to what extent ethics still requires our attention now that legal rules for AI are taking shape.
With two speakers and ample space for open discussion, we invite everyone professionally engaged with AI to share experiences and reflect on the broader values and challenges that regulation alone may not fully address. We also consider how we can continue to frame and emphasize the need for ethics in this evolving landscape, ensuring it remains a central concern alongside compliance.
This session also includes a thought exercise on the future of the learning community.
