How to deploy technology in a responsible and fair way? Do you know the ethical questions around AI and data-driven applications, but are you unsure how to anticipate them in your AI or data-driven project? You are not alone!

Many organisations are aware of the ethical and legal pitfalls involved in AI and data-related innovation. But in practice, it remains a struggle to make those concerns part of your operations, and how you can address them.

In the Learning Community 'AI and ethics in practice', we stimulate the sharing of knowledge, experiences, best practices and questions between ethics officers, digital ethicists, AI ethics officers, and other professionals who are either directly or indirectly concerned with the subject.

This meet-up will be part of the Flanders AI Forum.

We are organising this meet-up as a deepdive session of the Flanders AI Forum which will take place on June 11th in Ghent. As a result, the meet-up will be open to all visitors of the event.

If you'd like to join the session, the Flanders AI Forum has free entrance, but you will need to register beforehand via: https://www.flandersaiforum.be. The meet-up will take place during deepdive session 1 'Van AI-idee tot AI-beleid: Hoe doe je dit?' (in Dutch)

During this session we will give a sneak peak of 'Ally - the toolbox for building your ethical innovation strategy block-by-block' and discuss how you can set-up and integrate ethics and responsible AI practices into your organisation on a structural level.
