The Knowledge Centre Data & Society and FARI are collaborating on the development of 'ALLY, build your ethical innovation strategy block-by-block', an online toolbox that supports organisations in drafting an ethical innovation strategy.

About the toolbox

With new innovations, we quickly see their potential added value for our own organisation. It can ease work, or facilitate processes. But there are also many uncertainties: what is the impact on jobs and job security of employees, or what happens to all that data, is it safe?

The online toolbox ALLY contains 25 different building blocks, or actions, that you can implement to make responsible AI the centrepiece of your organisation. An ethical innovation strategy captures ethical reflections and links various actions to them that guide decision-making processes across the organisation.

About the event

We would like to invite you to join us on Wednesday 22 May 2024 from 1pm to 4pm at FARI (Kantersteen 12, 1000 Brussels).

• 13h00 - 15h00: A two-hour workshop in which we will give more information about Ally, its development process, the content and aims of the toolbox, and we will be happy to discuss how we can refine the building blocks in order to better align Ally with working practices.
• 15h00 - 16h00: A networking drink to get to know each other better and talk more.
