Summer

Open Call for Summer blogs

25.05.2022

We are taking it slow over Summer, and are giving the floor to external contributions in July and August.

Are you working on an interesting project? Do you need help with your reseaerch? Do you have a snappy opinion to share or rather a true longread? Do you want to give an interesting initative some airplay or did you publish a book? Are you nurturing a pet peeve? Maybe our annual 'Summer Blog' series could be something for you!

We are very flexible when it comes to the subject you want to write about, as long as it can be linked to the Knowledge Centre's core business.

Interested? Let us know before July 1st 2022 what you want to write about and when you will deliver your blog. You can contact us here.

We reserve the right to refuse, edit or shorten pieces as we deem fit. We will always publish your name and professional contact details.

Rules of Engagement

  • The subject needs to appeal to our target audiences. We're certainly willing to think outside of the box, but we are a Knowledge Centre, not a Conspiracy Centre! Make sure your text is referenced and documented.
  • We do not publish commercial pitches
  • Make sure your writing style is suitable for the web and structure your text accordingly. Avoid jargon and academic language and provide hyperlinks, not academic footnotes
  • There is no minimum or maximum length - but keep in mind the average attention span of your intended audience
  • Make sure to provide us with at least two images, rigths free or cleared
  • You cannot provide attachments, the full texts will be published on the page.
