Two learning communities by the Knowledge Centre: what’s in it for you?

14.02.2024

Sharing experiences, ideas and concerns with your peers on AI related projects, that is what we like to simulate with the Knowledge Centre Data & Society! By bringing you and peers together to discuss these, you can come up with actions to address these concerns and pitfalls in AI projects.

In late 2022, we launched the Learning Community ‘AI and ethics in practice’. Now, after more than a year, we are excited to announce another learning community in collaboration with the Vlaamse Vereniging voor Steden en Gemeenten (VVSG) and VLAIO.

In this blogpost, you can find more information on the two learning communities and what they can mean to you.

AI and ethics in practice

Are you wondering how to deploy technology in a responsible and fair manner? Do ethical questions related to AI and data-driven applications intrigue you, but you’re unsure how to address them in your projects? You’re not alone!

While many organizations recognize the ethical and legal complexities of AI and data-related innovations, integrating these considerations into day-to-day operations remains challenging. Our Learning Community aims to bridge this gap by facilitating the exchange of knowledge, experiences, best practices, and questions among ethics officers, digital ethicists, AI ethics officers, and other professionals.
