What is sustainable AI and how do you make sure your system is sustainable? This session explains what sustainable AI means by looking at it as a part of our environment. The question then becomes, how does this system contribute to the quality of a living environment and the people who live or work in it? What can be done to reduce negative impacts?

Specifically, in this session, you will learn to operationalize the SDGs, dwell on the energy consumption of AI, and how to make data more sustainable.

A staff member will explain a number of assessment tools based on some cases and good practices. With those assessment tools, you can start working yourself to make AI systems more sustainable in your organization.
