amai!' is a typical Flemish exclamation meaning something like "Wow, this is amazing." 'amai!' is also a large scale public awareness, outreach and citizen science program about artificial intelligence. amai! encourages citizens to envision concrete AI innovations that tackle societal challenges. By involving citizens and focussing on societal challenges, the program reaches out to a different crowd than the usual suspects. In a second phase, program funds project teams that wish to actually realize some of the ideas of citizens. Come and discover our inspiring approach!
