brAInfood: The Data Act in 5 questions

What’s what in the EU Data Act? The Data Act can be a complex act to navigate as a company. It requires companies to share certain data with consumers, other companies or public actors. 

To address this complexity, the Knowledge Centre Data & Society has developed a practical tool that clarifies what the Data Act means in concrete terms. In this brAInfood, we explain the five questions of the tool. This allows you to check which rights and obligations apply to your company. 

On 10 March 2026, we organised a webinar (in Dutch) on the Data Act in collaboration with Voka. During the webinar, experts Dieter Somers (Digital Transformation Expert, Voka), Sultan Erdogan and Shannen Verlee (Legal researchers, Knowledge Centre Data & Society) guided businesses through the new regulations.
